Project 3: Vector Portrait October 25, 2009

Project 3: Vector Portrait Project.

This assignment will build your understanding of some basic tools and functions of Adobe Illustrator. You will learn how to change the stroke and fill color of objects that you will create with the various shape tools and pen tools.  Students took self portraits in the FHS student gallery.  They used their self portrait as a guide to create a scaleable vector graphic.  Students were also required to download some vector graphics from Vecteezy.com to build some background or foreground elements in their image.

The .AI file should be 11×14″ and set the resolution to High or 300dpi as we will print them out and hang them up for all to see.  (You can set the resolution under Effects->Document Raster Effects Settings).
